3/18: Autism Awareness Month Kicks Off!

Autism Awareness Month is right around the corner and by community vote CafePress will once again be partnering with two autism awareness and aid organizations to help them raise funds for autism education and research.

CafePress will be splitting 10% of proceeds* from the sale of eligible autism awareness products to Autism Speaks and The Autistic Self Advocacy Network. Interested in being a part of this worthwhile endeavor? All you have to do as designers is tag your autism awareness-related designs with “AUTISM2013” to ensure that 10% of the sale price goes to these organizations.

If designing products isn’t really your thing, don’t worry. You can still make a difference by purchasing one of the eligible products on our website or sharing our Autism Awareness campaign during the month of April with your friends. You can also learn more about autism and how to help these organizations further by visiting their websites at:

http://www.autismspeaks.org/
http://autisticadvocacy.org/

These are some easy (and important) ways to show your support for a terrific cause. So please, make an impact and join us today—get involved, start tagging and sharing with your friends!

*An amount equal to 10% of the retail price for all products tagged with “AUTISM2013″ sold through the CafePress.com Marketplace during April 1, 2013 through April 30, 2013 will be donated to the following two charities selected by the CafePress community. Proceeds will be equally split between Autism Speaks and Autism Self Advocacy Network.

3/6: NEW! Favorites from CBS Properties are here!

From fond memories of days gone by to supernatural happenings, CafePress is introducing seven new fan pages for CBS Properties. You can create “idiosyncratic” designs for cult favorite Twin Peaks, go back to the ’50′s with Fonz and the Cunninghams, or stir up a potion or two with the Halliwell sisters of Charmed. Maybe you’d like to cross into another design dimension with The Twilight Zone, hand with those lovable Little Rascals, talk “talk radio” with Dr. Frasier Crane, or create something inspired by times at West Beverly High. Whatever you come up with, don’t be shy–just remember to follow the brand guidelines for each property please! You’ll also want to tag all designs so they’re featured on the correct fan page–you’ll find both the tag IDs and brand guidelines when you click on the links below.

New fan pages include:

Charmed

The Twilight Zone

Happy Days

The Little Rascals

Twin Peaks

Frasier

90210 (new and original series)

Got your favorites picked? With all this range of inspiration, we can’t wait to see what you dream up!

2/7: The Carrie Diaries is now stylin’ at CafePress

Announcing our new and very “fashion-forward” fan page—The Carrie Diaries. If you’re a fan of Carrie Bradshaw as a thirty-something, you’ll love designing around her cosmopolitan teen adventures. Ready to jump back to 1984? With all the fab fashion sense the young, 1980’s Carrie offers, it’s easy to get inspired. Maybe her life-changing, first intro to the City speaks to you, or her law firm internship, or even her friends Mouse, Walt or exuberant Larissa. There’s no end to the design opportunities with this fan page; the only real rule is to follow the brand guidelines: http://www.cafepress.com/cp/popup/index.aspx?page=fan_merch_rules_TheCarrieDiaries

And, when your designs are finished and you’ve pushed back from that drawing table, please remember to tag each image with “TheCarrieDiariesTV.” Alright, Carrie fans—enjoy!
